General Rules
- The competition is open for everyone who is interested
- The tasks will be announced at the beginning of the month, and time period for solving them is ~15 days
- To make the solving of the optimization easier, tasks are prepared as excel files, with formulas for automatic score calculation. Completed tasks should be copied and sent to the editor by an email
- Completed tasks can be sent more than once until the specified deadline elapses and competitors who send completed tasks can see all the results arrived to that point
- Scoring of each task is specifically defined by the rules, and general rankings will be calculated in percentages comparing to the best solution (or solutions) which worth 100 points
- 10 most successful competitors of the round get bonus points from 10 to 1. In case of the same results, the time of sending them is decisive
- 8 best scores during the year are used for calculating general rankings of The Optimizers’ League, which means that the maximum possible number of points is 880

OBJECTIVE: In second grid, mark safe positions for same number of individuals, couples and groups of 3 people. Cells reserved for one couple or group must share cell side. Different groups and individuals can touch only diagonally. Use 1 for individuals, 2 for couples and 3 for groups.
CALCULATION: If mark match number from first grid at same position - both values are added to score. If not - your mark is reduced by value from first grid and added to score. Maximize your result.
OBRAČUN: Ako je vaša oznaka jednaka predviđenoj oznaci u prvoj mreži, te vrednosti se sabiraju, a ako vaša oznaka ne odgovara oznaci u prvoj mreži, onda se vaša oznaka umanjuje za vrednost na odgovarajućoj poziciji u prvoj mreži. Maksimizujte svoj ukupni rezultat.

ZADATAK: Označite bezbedne pozicije za jednak broj pojedinaca, parova i grupa od 3 osobe. Polja koja čine par ili grupu moraju biti povezana stranicom, a polja sa pojedincima, parovima i grupama, međusobno se smeju dodirivati samo dijagonalno. Mesta za pojedince označete brojem 1, parove brojem 2 i grupe brojem 3.OBRAČUN: Ako je vaša oznaka jednaka predviđenoj oznaci u prvoj mreži, te vrednosti se sabiraju, a ako vaša oznaka ne odgovara oznaci u prvoj mreži, onda se vaša oznaka umanjuje za vrednost na odgovarajućoj poziciji u prvoj mreži.
